Lukey was left at a shelter with Parvo by his previous owners. Steve was visiting the shelter when he heard the news. They were just about to put the dog down. Steve stopped them and said, “I’ll take him!!” He ran him immediately to a 24-hour vet for surgery. $4000 later, Lukey was at Steve’s house, where he remains to this day.
