NILA

Nila was from a litter born around my house. The word must have gotten out that my home was a safe haven for all animals. The mother gave birth to three kittens: Nila, Abbey, and Kiwi, who I’ll tell each story in their bio. Nila wasn’t doing well—she needed to be bottle-fed, and we had to keep cleaning her eyes. My niece worked at a veterinary hospital and fell in love with her. She took over nursing her and taking care of her. She is still there today, living a great life.
